Russian billionaire, Roman Abramovich, allegedly purchased the Kum Beach in Çeşme, according to a Doğan News Agency story, but the Tycoon's representative in Moscow denied the story. Çeşme Mayor Faik Tütüncüoğlu said Abramovich purchased the land for $17 million, but John Mann, Abramovich's representative, denied the story. “Mr. Abramovich has not recently purchased any properties in Turkey,” Mann said to the Turkish Daily News.
