After much deliberation the new enactment was voted and approved by the Turkish Parliament in the last week.

The draft Law was voted and approved by the Parliament on 11th June.  The new Law will now be submitted to the President for final ratification and according to the Turkish Constitution, the President will be expected to ratify it within fifteen days.  We are not expecting any veto will arise announces specialist lawyers www.acacia-int.com.  The last phase for the adoption of this Law will be its publication in the Official Gazette shortly after the approval by the President. The Ministry of Public Works and Settlement is expected to publish a circular letter after the Law is published in the Gazette in order to enable the execution of the Law.  This should avoid any further ambiguities and remove the temporary halt for Foreign National purchases in Turkey that had been announced.
